Who is Emil Pindur?
エミールピンダーって誰？
Daily English Lesson.com was created by Emil Pindur with the specific purpose of helping Japanese to learn English. He has worked for 4 well-known English teaching companies in Japan for over 7 years and has taught over 10,000 hours of English to Japanese students.
Daily English Lesson.jpは、日本人が英語を学習する手助けすることを目的としてエミールピンダーによって作成されました。彼は、日本でよく知られている4つの英会話学校に7年間勤務し、10,000時間以上日本人の生徒に英語を教えてきました。
Emil was born in New Zealand and first went to live in Japan in 2001 to pursue his passion for aikido (Emil studied at the Aikikai Hombu Dojo in Tokyo). Teaching English was a natural career choice, since he had studied linguistics at university and was a fluent French speaker (it’s much easier to teach people a second language when you’ve been through the process yourself).
エミールは、ニュージーランドで生まれ、2001年に合気道への熱意を持って日本へ行きました。（エミールは、東京の合気会本部道場で合気道を学びました。）大学で言語学を学び、フランス語も習得した彼にとって、英語を教えるという職は、自然な選択でした。（自分自身が同じ過程を通過していると、第2言語を教えるのが随分楽です。）
Emil experienced work for a number of different English teaching schools and their different methodologies. He uses his experience in Japan and studies in linguistics to create the most useful and helpful content for his Japanese students.
エミールは、数々の異なる英会話学校でそれぞれの方法で教えるという経験をしました。彼は、この日本での経験と学んだ言語学を使って最も有効で手助けになる内容を日本人生徒のためにつくりあげているのです。
Famous American author, Malcolm Gladwell has written a fascinating study, “Outliers: The Story of Success” (Little, Brown & Co., 2008). In his book, he says it takes about 10 years, or 10,000 hours, of practice to attain true expertise.
アメリカで有名な著者マルコムグラッドウェルが、とても興味深い調査を「概略：成功の物語」（Little, Brown & Co., 2008）に書いています。彼の著書の中で彼は、本当の専門的知識（技術）に達するには約10年もしくは、10,000時間以上かかるといっている。
Neurologist Daniel Levitin has studied the formula for success extensively and shares this finding: “The emerging picture from such studies is that 10,000 hours of practice is required to achieve the level of mastery associated with being a world-class expert in anything. In study after study of composers, basketball players, fiction writers, ice skaters, concert pianists, and chess players… the number comes up again and again.

So, we can safely say that with over 10,000 hours of English teaching experience, Emil is a master of English teaching.
Emil’s favourite Japanese hobbies are aikido and shogi.
